Who did I choose to play Veturia?

So I usually don't choose real life actors and actresses to use as motivation in my stories, but I started it with this one and have decided to continue it, just for this story. Besides, it's kind of fun to picture my characters in my head and then see who I think could 'play that part' well.

In this chapter, we meet Evie's mum, Veturia. And who better to play her than Katharine Hepburn? She's one of my favorite actresses of all time!

I chose the name because the original Veturia was a Roman matron who supposedly saved Rome from being taken over by the Volscians when her son was expelled from the city and joined with them. She confronted her son and brought along his wife and children to plead her case. It was successful and Coriolanus left Rome. Veturia was honored for her courage, patriotism and strength. I have to give Kudos to SlytherinDragoon on FF.net because she was my muse for these banners. She created some for Hermione's Choice (check it out; great story!) and they looked so good (go to her account and you'll find the link to her blog)....and I thought 'why can't I do that for Irish Eyes?' I've been wanting someone who could do fan art, but the few people I found that I really liked their work weren't taking any more requests. *sob*

So, I thought this would be kind of fun. And it was. I might do some more. They're simple, but it works. Comments? Let me know what you think! (I think I like the last one best!)

Chapter 13 - A Wedding & Then Some

Okay Everyone...we're going to try this...not real sure how this works so you're guinea pigs. LOL I've been seeing quite a few people on FF.net with sites/blogs that show pictures that have influenced their story or clothing or art work etc and I decided I would try as well since I use a lot of real things and locations in my stories. (I should have started this for Irish Eyes too!)

This is for my Remus/Ginny story, chapter 13 "A Wedding and Then Some".

Minerva's dress (except in sand color, not white)

Minerva's veil (in matching sand color, not white)

Bridesmaid dresses (in light green)

Last but not least, the boys' knicker suits

Wait...one last thing...the wedding arches (imagine tulle covering the frame with the dark blue bows on each 'arm' of the arch)
